- Certificates that cover your format. Ask for the GMP, HACCP or ISO 22000 certificate and check that its scope includes powders, drinks or whatever format you plan.
- Halal scope. If you will claim Halal, check that the product itself will be listed, not only the factory.
- Export registrations. If you plan to export, confirm the registrations your destination market needs.
- Samples, shelf life and MOQ. Taste the sample, ask how shelf life is tested, and confirm the minimum order quantity and timeline in writing.
