Key takeaways
- The Chinese-language site went live in October 2026; on 12 October 2026 the site map listed 110 Chinese pages.
- It covers the company, 10 product categories and 53 sub-category pages, the service models, eight customer pathways, certifications, halal guides, ingredients and raw material sourcing, the FAQ and contact.
- Six Chinese-only explainers answer the regulatory questions Chinese speakers search for: halal certification, NPRA, MDA, food certification, ESG certifications, and FDA registration with D-U-N-S.
- Chinese and English pages are paired, so search engines can show each reader the right language; the Ready Formulas catalogue and most News & Insight articles stay in English for now.
- The language changes, the facts do not: the same member companies make the products and hold the same certificates.
What has ORIZI Group launched?
This announcement describes the Chinese pages as they stood on 12 October 2026. ORIZI Group has launched a Chinese-language website at orizigroup.com/zh/, written in simplified Chinese (简体中文). A paired website is a site where each English page has a matching page in another language that mirrors its structure and links back to it. ORIZI’s rule for the Chinese pages is that the structure mirrors the English site while the wording is localised for Chinese readers rather than translated word for word.
The October 2026 release brought every main product category, product sub-category, service page and customer pathway into Chinese. A language switch (EN / CN) sits in the header of every paired page.

Why did ORIZI Group launch a Chinese-language website?
Chinese-speaking buyers were already looking for Malaysian manufacturers in Chinese, and the question they ask most is about halal certification. Google Keyword Planner data pulled by ORIZI in September 2026 for Malaysia and Singapore combined (simplified Chinese, August 2025 to July 2026) shows:
| Chinese search term | Meaning | Average monthly searches | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| 清真认证 | Halal certification | 100–1,000 | Highest-volume term in the sample |
| 化妆品 OEM | Cosmetics OEM | 10–100 | High advertiser competition; top-of-page bids up to MYR 6.84 |
| 保健品代工 | Supplement contract manufacturing | 10–100 | – |
| 马来西亚 代工厂 | Malaysia contract factory | 10–100 | – |
| 化妆品代工 | Cosmetics contract manufacturing | 10–100 | – |
Our own Search Console shows the same pattern. In the 90 days to 12 October 2026, the Chinese question “npra 是什么” (“what is NPRA”) earned 42 impressions at an average position of 5.5, and smaller Chinese questions asked what MDA and JAKIM are. These are not large numbers. They do show a clear need: Chinese-speaking founders want Malaysia’s regulators and halal system explained in their own language before they talk to a factory.
Which regulatory questions do the Chinese pages answer?
The six Chinese-only explainers exist because these terms come up first when a Chinese-speaking brand owner evaluates a Malaysian manufacturer. Each one also has an English counterpart topic on the certifications page.
- NPRA: the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) is the Ministry of Health Malaysia agency that manages cosmetic product notification; cosmetics must be notified before they are sold in Malaysia.
- JAKIM: the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) issues Malaysian halal certification, with cosmetics certified to MS 2634 and food to MS 1500.
- MDA: the Medical Device Authority (MDA) regulates medical devices under the Medical Device Act 2012 (Act 737), licensing manufacturers as establishments and registering devices separately.
- Food certification: MeSTI, HACCP, GMP and ISO 22000, the food-safety systems held by D&O and Nutrizens.
- ESG certifications: Sedex membership, the SMETA audit and SA8000, held by Dr Orizi.
- FDA and D-U-N-S: what US FDA facility registration means for cosmetics and food, and what a D-U-N-S business identifier is.
For halal specifically, the Chinese site keeps the same wording as the English site: production runs in JAKIM-certified facilities (Dr Orizi, D&O, Nutrizens and Skyler), and for Indonesia, MUI/BPJPH halal certification is applied for the customer’s product on request. The English background is in our article on halal cosmetics certification.
How do the Chinese and English sites work together?
- Paired pages: landing pages, product pages, service pages and company pages exist in both languages with the same structure.
- Language tags: each pair carries hreflang tags (en, zh and x-default). Hreflang is the HTML signal that tells search engines which language version of a page to show a reader.
- Header switch: readers move between EN and CN from the header of any paired page.
- Separate news: News & Insight runs per language, so Chinese articles are written for Chinese readers rather than translated one by one; the first Chinese article covers Disney FAMA.
- English-only for now: the Ready Formulas catalogue, most News & Insight articles and the detailed product pages below sub-category level remain in English.
None of this changes who makes the product. A Chinese-speaking brand owner works with the same member company, the same certificates and the same service models as an English-speaking one; for export documentation, the reference is our guide to cosmetic export from Malaysia.
ORIZI perspective: what we learned building the Chinese site
Based on our keyword research and the build itself, three decisions shaped the launch. First, we anchored the Chinese content on halal certification and regulators rather than on product pages, because “halal certification” is the highest-volume Chinese term in our September 2026 data and the GSC questions were about NPRA, MDA and JAKIM. Second, we localised rather than translated: Chinese pages keep an official, factual tone and describe credentials exactly as the English site does, holder company and start year. Third, we chose to keep three things out of the first release: the Ready Formulas catalogue, page-by-page translation of News & Insight articles, and the detailed product pages below sub-category level.
The limits are worth stating. The Keyword Planner figures are bucketed ranges for Malaysia and Singapore combined, traditional Chinese (used in Taiwan and Hong Kong) was not measured, and the site is written in simplified Chinese. Chinese-language marketing channels matter too; our article on Xiaohongshu-style seeding before launch covers how brands build demand there.
Risks, limitations and common mistakes
- Reading a Chinese website as a China registration. Selling in mainland China or Hong Kong involves market-specific registration and testing; the export pathway assesses those rules before formulation.
- Expecting every page in Chinese. Formula catalogues and most articles are still English; ask for specifics during the brief.
- Assuming simplified and traditional Chinese readers search the same way. Our data covers simplified Chinese only.
- Treating halal as global. JAKIM certification is widely recognised, but each destination market sets its own acceptance rules.
