Corrections Policy
We get things wrong sometimes. Here is how to tell us.
Tell us
Email [email protected] with the page, the part you think is wrong, and the source that shows what is right if you have one. You do not need to be a customer. We aim to reply within two working days and sort it within five — sooner for anything involving regulation or safety.
What happens next
If we got a fact, a figure or a regulatory point wrong, we fix it and add a dated note at the foot of the article saying what changed. If a rule or a number has moved since we published, we update the article and note that too. Typos and broken links we simply fix.
If a claim turns out to be one we cannot stand behind, it comes out. Corrections stay on the page once made — we would rather show the record than quietly tidy it away.
Right of reply
If we have written about your company, product or standard and got it wrong, or been unfair, write to [email protected]. We will look at the evidence and correct the record where you are right.
