ORIZI Group corporate social responsibility activities

Ethical Manufacturing, Human Rights & Labour Compliance

Doing good is embedded in ORIZI’s DNA. We believe that trust and integrity are built over time, earned daily, and provide lasting value to our stakeholders. From the start, we have supported communities through unexpected challenges and will continue to push ourselves to do more. Even the smallest actions can contribute to a better world.

Environmental Sustainability & Responsible Sourcing

We take corporate social responsibility seriously by aligning with Malaysia’s national programs and global sustainability standards:

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

• We actively participate in Malaysia’s government initiatives, including:
• Return to Work (RTW) Program – Supporting workforce reintegration.
• Bantuan Programs – Engaging in various government aid initiatives aimed at assisting underprivileged communities.
• Disability Programmes – Advocating for inclusivity and support for persons with disabilities.

Environmental Sustainability

• Environmental sustainability has been a priority for decades. Our efforts include:
• Solar Energy Implementation – Reducing carbon emissions.
• Eco-Friendly Packaging – Collaborating with clients to utilize FMS sustainable packaging for a greener future.
• Carbon Footprint Reduction – Integrating sustainable practices to conserve resources and help restore the environment.

Human Rights & Labour Compliance

We uphold SA8000 standards, ensuring fair labour practices, no child labour, and a safe working environment for all employees.

Cruelty-Free & Ethical Sourcing

We adhere to BE Cruelty-Free standards, ensuring that our products are never tested on animals.

Equality & Inclusion

Our workplace fosters multi-cultural and multi-racial harmony, ensuring equal opportunities for all. In recognition of our efforts, ORIZI won the 2024 Syarikat Harmoni Award (IHI Industrial Harmony Index) by the Department of Industrial Relations Malaysia.

At ORIZI, we remain dedicated to responsible manufacturing, ethical business practices, and environmental sustainability, ensuring that we leave the world better than we found it.

Community & Sponsorship

As a manufacturer rooted in Malaysia, ORIZI Group believes a factory’s responsibility does not stop at its gate. The people who work with us, the communities around our operations and the next generation of talent are part of how we measure success. That is why our companies open doors to people others overlook, train the students who will run tomorrow’s factories, and stand behind the causes that keep our communities strong.

We employ persons with disabilities (OKU) in roles including quality inspection and warehouse work, open selected production posts to candidates with hearing or speech impairments, and take part in PERKESO’s Return-to-Work programme to help injured workers get back into employment.
